my roles

i have many roles in my life & am still to this day learning to balance them all & incorporate them into who i am as a person

girlfriend

my boyfriend & i have been together for just about 10 years. we run a pizzeria together 6 days a week 10+ hours a day.

he encourages me everyday to grow & both challenges me & provides me with a safe place to be.

he was there when i switched careers, i used to be a teacher, to support me in the decision that would improve my quality of life and has stood by me on my journey to find out what my goals are in life.

step-mom

my step-daughter’s name is c, she is 18 & about to move out to go to college

she is keeping me cool with music suggestions, technology, & new views on everything mental health related.

i became a step-mom at the age of 23, there were ups & downs, but we are currently in an up & i’m hoping that stays because the relationship we currently have is what i’ve dreamed of.

dog mom

i have no children of my own, nor do i wish to have any, at least i don’t have any that walk on 2 feet.

we have an 8 year old mutt named brady, he is the a little bigger than a corgi, but they told us he was a shepard/husky, we see it, but his dad was def a small dog.
we also have a 6 year old bernese mountain dog named molly who thinks she is still a pup as well as a lap dog, which she definitely isn’t.

i am learning how to reconnect with myself in a variety of different ways, but my mental health is first and foremost. i am learning about stress management, anxiety, and depression.

emotional health

i am a 90’s baby, do with that what you will, but i am from a loving household but i often heard “i’ll give you something to cry about” & “stop complaining” therefore i struggle to this day to “feel” my feelings.

i am a life long journaler & love finding new prompts to help me think deeper about who i am and what i want from this life. i also am a music lover, hoping to find my next favorite song.
